Absolute Radio is an independent national radio station located in London that plays popular rock music. This station is owned and operated by Bauer Media Group and is patron of The Radio Academy. Absolute Radio broadcasts popular rock music on medium wave and DAB across the UK and all over the world via satellite, cable and on the Internet.
This station was aired for the first time at 7:45 am on 29 September 2008 and its name changed from Virgin Radio to the current name. Since its launch that its target group continues to be 24 to 44 year-olds.
